"You can have the front yard dear...I got the back." We re-vamped the back yard for this couple when they first bought the house about 5 years ago. The front yard was not working for them now. The plants were small, an eclectic mix that did not have a theme, the hardscape did not match the house, there were too many rocks, and well "if I get the front yard dear, then I want it to be something I like, look presentable, and mature sometime before I die". This project included, a new hardscape with materials to match the style of the house, a new planting plan to meet the subtle microclimates of the site, new irrigation, new fences, rain water harvesting, and removal of a lot of rocks. This customer invested approximately $95,000 to completely transform their space and make it their own.
