We had one foreman who was not quite grasping the concept of the berry house we were about to build, then he said, “oh I got it. It is like a chicken coop for your veggies!” The veggie house, berry house, or fruit house is for the site with heavy pest pressure, and for people that really want to make the gardening and orcharding process more about the fun part of harvesting! The house can be done in wood with hardware cloth sides to keep out all critters, or with netting to keep out the birds.
